Robert A. Marrazzo, DVM
Member of AAFP, AVMA
Medical Director and Owner of The Cat Hospital at Palm Harbor

"People often ask me, 'Why have a cat only practice?'
The first reason is pure-selfishness. I enjoy spending time in the company of cats, both my own cats at home, and your cats at my practice. I'm a lucky guy to spend time with cats 24-7! I appreciate their energy, their good and easy company, their rascal attitude, and their unique nature. My love for cats led me on a journey to dedicate my professional career to their care, and to learning more about them."

After graduating from Cornell University, he attended the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine, where he was mentored by Dr. Michael Schaer. "What greater gift than the love of a cat." -Charles Dickens

"My love for cats started as far back as I have any such memory. I clearly remember taking cat naps as a child and always having a feline friend by my side.  The purrs that calmed me in the darkness, the           companionship that never let me feel alone- cats were always a part of my life.  My favorite part about my job as a feline veterinarian  is the minute an owner walks through the door with his/her cat, we have an automatic connection.  We appreciate cats for what they are– the mysterious kind of love they offer, the regal stance they flaunt, and the grace with little effort they master."

Dr. Jasmine C. Champagne graduated from LSU School of Veterinary medicine where she was vice president of the student chapter of the American Association of Feline Practitioners (AAFP) and received top recognition from the AAFP for outstanding senior student in feline medicine and surgery.
