We Love Cats
The Cat Hospital at Palm Harbor has been serving cats and their people in Palm Harbor and the surrounding area since 1996. Our practice is made up of talented veterinary professionals, and a wonderful team of cat whisperers, who are passionate about cats and take care of each cat as if he/she were their own. We invite you to bring your cat in for a check-up and take a tour of our beautiful facility. We have the wellness services you’d like when your cat’s feeling fine, and the emergency services you need when illness or tragedy strikes. We look forward to serving you.
Robert A. Marrazzo, DVM
Being an advocate for cats is Dr. Robert Marrazzo’s passion. He has always enjoyed the company of cats and the Cat Hospital is a natural extension of that joyful part of his life.
Dr. Marrazzo attended Cornell University, and then the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine, where he was awarded the Phi Theta Kappa Award for academic excellence in veterinary medicine and surgery. After graduation, he actively sought out positions that allowed him to work with leaders in the field of veterinary medicine. He has practiced in internal medicine, and neurology / neurosurgery practices, and has an extensive background in emergency medicine and surgery, and critical care.
As a long-time member of, and through his work on the Executive Board of, the American Association of Feline Practitioners, he has helped cat owners, and veterinarians have the information needed to be better care givers. Dr. Marrazzo loves to share what he knows about cats not only in our exam rooms, but also in the classroom where he taught veterinary technicians at St. Petersburg College Department of Veterinary Medical Technology.
He enjoys bike riding, travel, history, reading, and the company of his partner Michele, their three cats, Sam Sammich, Lou, and Princess, and Izzy the dog.
Did we mention that Dr. Bob Cat loves cats?
